RBI Grade B Eligibility

Candidates should follow the eligibility guidelines issued by the RBI before applying online. The basic eligibility criteria for RBI grade b exam 2020 is related to nationality, age limit and educational qualification of the candidate are discussed below:

RBI Grade B Eligibility: Nationality

Candidates appearing for RBI Grade B Exam 2020 should be either:

  1. Citizen of India or
  2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan or
  3. A Tibetan refugee who settled in India on or before January 1, 1962
  4. Individuals of Indian descent who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam for the purpose of permanent residence.

Please note that candidates in the categories of (2), (3) and (4) should have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

RBI Grade B Eligibility: Age Limit

The academic qualifications prescribed for RBI Grade B Exam 2020 are as under:

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIMEssential: A Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Mathematical Statistics/Statistics & Informatics/Econometrics from IIT-Kharagpur or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semester/years or an equivalent grade; OR
  1. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semester/years and 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics or related subjects from reputed institute; OR
  2. M. Stat. from Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years OR
  3. PG Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years or equivalent grade.

RBI Grade B Officer Salary

All the selected in the RBI Grade B officer salary will be paid an annual salary of Rs 12 lakh. This CTC comes with numerous fibers and allowances. The salary of RBI Grade B officer is Rs. 35150-1750 (9) -50900-EB-1750 (2) -54400-2000 (4) -62400. This means that you have to pay Rs. , 35,150 / – in which you have to pay Rs. 1,750 / – for nine years of your service. After completing nine years, you will join the executive band in which the basic salary is Rs. , 0,900 / – and thereafter in the next two years you will get Rs. 1,750 / – and further Rs. 2000 / – for next two years Rs. 62,400 / – and this happens when you do not get any promotion. In addition to the basic salary, various allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, family allowance, telephone allowance, vehicle allowance etc. will be provided along with payment to rbi grade b officer

Second Phase Online Examination:

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the total marks obtained In the second phase (Paper-1 + Paper-II + Paper-I), the minimum aggregated cut-off marks shortlisted for the interview will decide on the number of vacancies. RBI Grade B  exam Result 2020 is now available on the official website of the bank. The RBI Grade B results of the DR-General Main Examination have been published on December 18, 2020.
